If dimming matters, buy a dimmable LED and check the switch on the circuit first, because an older dimmer built for incandescent bulbs will often make an LED flicker rather than dim cleanly.

The cord is adjustable, so the drop can be set properly at the moment of installation rather than accepted as given, and that is worth taking seriously because correcting it later means taking the whole fixture down again. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners near the brass finish, which they will dull over time, and the fixture will look the same in five years as it does on the first evening.
