Each combination comes in warm white at 3000K or cold white at 6000K, and this is the choice that will most affect how the room feels. 3000K is a warm, relaxed tone close to a traditional bulb, and it flatters timber, skin and fabric, which makes it right for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways in a home. 6000K is a bright, cool daylight tone that renders colour crisply and reads as alert rather than restful, suiting a kitchen work area, a garage, a utility room or a workshop where seeing clearly matters more than atmosphere. Mixing the two in one room is worth avoiding, since the difference is obvious side by side and looks like a mistake rather than a decision. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to fit and none to replace, with rated life measured in thousands of hours; the trade-off is that the tone chosen at purchase is the one the fitting keeps. Installation is a hardwired ceiling connection at the mounting point, straightforward for anyone comfortable with mains wiring and short work for an electrician otherwise. Care is an occasional dust with a dry cloth and nothing more than that, since there is no shade to remove and no lamp to reach.
