This is a compact wall light built on a curved iron form, sized for the jobs a wall light does best rather than for making a statement. You choose the light colour at purchase rather than later, in warm white or cold white, so it is worth deciding deliberately: warm white is the right answer for a bedroom or a living room where the light should feel relaxed, while cold white suits a kitchen, a workspace or anywhere you want the light to feel crisp and alert instead of cosy. Since the choice is fixed at purchase rather than adjustable later, it is worth pausing on rather than picking whichever appears first in the list.

On coverage, this lights an area of roughly three to five square metres, and that figure is the single most useful thing in the specification. It tells you plainly that this is accent and layered lighting rather than a whole-room solution. Used as one of several light sources in a room it works very well, and expected to light a living room by itself it will disappoint.
